S1: Shots of Zachary Walking to his apartment

S2: Grabs his mail, camera will be in mailbox S3: Shot of Zachary noticing door is opened, walks in, takes off his jacket/coat, tell his roomate (the dead guy) "You left the door open!" S4: Zach takes off his shoes, and puts them away. He yells his roomates (lets call him Felix) again S5: Zach moves up the stairs and lets out a huge gasps as he finds his roomates dead body S6: Time Jump Police is at the house, and questions Zachary S7: Zach witnesses Police leaving, and we see him pull out his phone to call someone. It's Felix's mom. Dialogue from Zach: "Natalie? Hi. Its Zachary. It's about Felix. I'm... I'm sorry." S8: Body has been taken by police, but Zach notices a newspaper with several letter marked in blood, as if to spell a message. Message says "Apartment 70...(ran out of time to spell full thing) S9: Zack looks at a picture on his phone of him and dead friend, and says "I'll find who did this.. I promise" (or something along those lines S10: Cut to main title, or screen fades to black
Here is our Script Blog for Sounds and Shooting. Presented above is our PowerPoint, and below is the text found in the PowerPoint. Sound Blog: Scene 1: No Dialogue Scene 2: No Dialogue Scene 3: Zachary: “Hey Felix! You left the door open!” Scene 4: Zachary “You hear me!? You left the door open!” You may have noticed that the introduction is a little slow, with only two sentences in the first four scenes. This is on purpose, in order to give the audience a chance to set themselves for the movie, familiarize themselves with the main character. Scene 5: Zachary lets out a GASP
Scene 6: Detective: “what time did you come home”
Zachary “around 20 minutes ago. I just found him like this and immediately called 911.”Detective: “Very well sir, we will remove the body to bring it to examine it. Did he have any family? ”Zachary “Yes.. His mother and sister. I will call them.” Detective “Very well.”
Scene 7: Zachary: "Natalie? Hi. Its Zachary. It's about Felix. I'm... I'm sorry."

Scene 8: No Dialogue

Scene 9: Zachary: "I'll find who did this.. I promise"

Scene 1: Low Angle
Camera shows Zachary walking through a path
High Angle as Zachary continues walking
Camera shows Zachary walking from in front of him

Scene 2: Camera is inside Mailbox
Mailbox door opens and we see Zachary’s face looking at his mail
Zachary reaches inside to get his mail
Zachary closes the mailbox door after grabbing his mail

Scene 3: Camera is in the door, and we see Zachary arrive and look confused.
Camera is now over the shoulder of Zachary, and we see that the door has been left open. 
(Camera is now inside the House) Zachary walks into the house and closes the door.
Zachary hangs his jacket, and yells “Hey! You left the door open!”

Scene 4: New Camera angle, from the right side of Zachary
Zachary approaches camera, and lays down
Zachary takes off his shoes one by one
After taking off his shoes, he once again yells “You Hear me!?” 
Zachary makes his way to the stairs, with the camera behind him.

Scene 5: Zachary moves up the stairs, once again calling his friend.
“Felix?”
Huge gasp from Zachary, camera is focused on his face (we do not yet see why he is gasping)
Over the shoulder/POV shot (still undecided) at dead body

Scene 6: Detective is now on the scene
(It is clear some time has passed)
Detective, paper in hand, interrogates Zachary
Detective “What time did you arrive?”
Zachary “About 20 minutes ago. The door was open, and I went upstairs to ask him about it. I found him like this and immediately called the police. 
Detective: “Very well sir, we will remove the body to bring it to examine it. Did he have any family?”
Zachary: “Yes.. His mother and sister. I will call them.”
Detective: “Very Well” 

Scene 7: Camera is behind Zachary as he looks at the Detective. 
Zachary watches them leave, then takes out his phone
He types a number and puts the phone up to his ear
Camera angle is now in front of Zachary, a little to the side.
Zachary: "Natalie? Hi. Its Zachary. It's about Felix. I'm... I'm sorry."

Scene 8: Camera is close to Zachary now, and the door is closed on the camera. 
Camera is now inside the house (where the shoe scene was filmed)
Zachary walks around the room, looking sad
He decides to go back up the stairs.
Camera is at the top of the stairs, then moves out for a wide shot 
Zachary looks at where his friend used to be (Body has been removed) and notices a newspaper 
Camera focus on newspaper

Scene 9: Zachary moves to grab the newspaper
Camera is at newspaper, making it seem like Zachary is trying to grab it.
Camera is now on the right side of Zachary as he picks up the newspaper and squints his eyes
Over the shoulder shot of the newspaper with multiple letters stained in red, forming a phrase
Zachary reads phrase aloud “__________”(we are still not sure what the message will be) then drops the newspaper.
Zachary gives one final look at where his friend’s body used to be and says “I'll find who did this.. I promise"

Genre Research: Lost Girls

  In order to learn more about our genre, our group watched Lost Girls, a murder mystery movie released in 2020. This movie is a nice classic murder mystery, similar to the likes of Clue and Murder on the Orient Express. This movie is what initially drew our interest when researching mystery movies, so we are happy to see it. As we watch this movie, we hope to find elements on the genre, as well as learn a few tricks to make a good mystery. What element of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have. I n the film Lost Girls a daughter goes missing and was last seen near Oak island beach. Production Blog

 So today we have finishers with the editing of our video. This was a good thing for us because we are able to see our final product. Once we finished editing we looked over our video. We were looking them to see if anything was bad. We looked it over and everything seemed fine. We then were talking about what to do next. This is where we had some discussion. We had to talk about what we wanted to do next. One person wanted to relax and do nothing. One other person wanted to finish up the rest of the blogs. And I had no clue what to do. We then had an argument on what we should do it went nowhere. Then once we stopped arguing we then had to leave Marius place cause it got late. After we got home we texted each other. This text consists of us talking about what’s the next plan. We couldn’t come up with anything so we just decided to rest. This was what we all thought would be best. We would just relax. Title Research: 2001: A Space Odyssey

  What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? - During the Opening sequence, there is, at first, nothing. Then, about 45 seconds in, we get to see the first name. That name is Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the company who made this movie. The next name, which appears soon after, is that of Stanley Kubrick, the producer of the movie. Finally, we see the title screen. What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? -In the opening sequence, the first image is an all black screen. Eventually, we see a big white circle begin to appear, and we realize that it is actually a planet. We slowly move up from the original black screen (which is actually a planet), and more unto the white circle with some light behind it. What connotations do these images carry? - These images carry an interesting connotation, as they are beautiful and gives us an image to look at, leaving the audience in awe at the images and the music especially.
