Title Research: Halloween 3 season of the witch

The Title Display sequence is from Halloween 3: Season of the Witch, a slasher-mystery movie part of the famous Halloween franchise (yet strangely does not have its main character, Michael Myers). This title sequence was found on Art of the Title.

What titles are displayed during the opening sequences?
-During the display sequence, we first see the producer's name, before moving on to the actual movie title, before showcasing the actors. What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? -There are no real "images" shown in the opening sequence. Rather, the sequence seems to happen on an old TV, which is an important plot point of the movie. The only "image" that is scene is the TV flickering, with occasional changes of orange light. All these changes lead to a giant pumpkin on the TV screen, which is shown after the opening sequence. What connotations do these images carry?
-These images carry a feeling a suspense, designed to intrigue and potentially scare the audience. They also carry a connotation of wonder, since each shot seems to be "cut" at some part, and eventually all images gather to form a pumpkin. The audience is left to wonder what is being formed from all those cut frames. How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset? -From the outset, the film shows a sense of mystery by immediately dropping us on this weird, old television screen. The text is flickering, and it seems shapes are forming up behind the actor's names. As stated on the question above, the audience is left to guess what shape or words will show itself once all the shots are connected.

What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience? -Arguably the main strategy to keep its audience is the music. While it is not the well known Halloween music from the previous two films, it does give a new music which is both spine-chilling and brain-teasing. This music is used to scare and make the audience think "what is this? why is it here? what are those images forming?". Another strategy used is the old TV, which seems broken, or at least in bad shape. The random static burst adds to the effect of spooking the audience, as well as making them ask themselves what this all means.
