Planning Storyboard for my music viedo

 Scene 1: In this first scene, as the music begins, a car pulls up to the driveway. As the video begins, the camera gets closer and closer to the window with the child.

Scene 2: The camera moves on slowly before the child. The child opens the door, and closes it before starting to walk towards the camera.

Scene 3: As the child continues walking in the background, the screen gets darker (with potential cloud added in editing, but that is still to be determined). The child continues to walk, and we see a sign that leads to a dentist.

Scene 4: The music continues, and the child notices the sign, just as the music reaches "Highway to Hell". We see the boy start to fear, as his eyes widen and he starts screaming "NO!NO!".

Scene 5: The Child's father, which will be seen in the first scene in the car, pushes his son forward, urging him to keep moving. The Child shows some resistance, but is still pushed through.

Scene 6: The camera is now behind the child as he is being now in front of the front door of the elevator. He stares at the doors, and you can see him moving around, almost shaking.

Scene 7: The Child enters a long hallway, and his facial expression is still tense. The camera starts to the child's right, and moves behind him, to capture the hallway.

Scene 8: The Child slowly moves forward, looking as he hesitates every step he takes. The camera return to the left of the Child, as we see him move slowly, hesitantly, scared.

Scene 9: Slowly, the child presses the button. He still looks very hesitant, and keep his hand pressed on the button before slowly pushing it away.

Scene 10: The doors open, and the child steps in. As he enters, he turns around and lets out a big sigh.

Scene 11: The doors of the elevator open, and we see the child step out. He looks around, with the camera in front of him, and he decides to go to his left (the right of the camera).

Scene 12: As the child walks, the camera moves behind him, following him as he moves towards the door of the dentist. Finally, he opens the doors, and the movie ends with the final words "On the highway to Hell....".

Genre Research: Lost Girls

  In order to learn more about our genre, our group watched Lost Girls, a murder mystery movie released in 2020. This movie is a nice classic murder mystery, similar to the likes of Clue and Murder on the Orient Express. This movie is what initially drew our interest when researching mystery movies, so we are happy to see it. As we watch this movie, we hope to find elements on the genre, as well as learn a few tricks to make a good mystery. What element of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have. I n the film Lost Girls a daughter goes missing and was last seen near Oak island beach. The one element that is in this movie is not knowing who did it. We are planning on using the element of not knowing who did it in our film. Which is why we watched this film. Research Blog: Music Video Conventions

 Well to start off the newer music videos made by ACDC are concert like but because of COVID its just them a stage and a camera crew. In these music videos they use a basic color scheme which is black and red. They will use some editing skills to add in effects like a neon red outline around Axl Rose's body. They flash from a red black room of just one person to the whole band on a stage playing, depending on whats going on they will either put in the whole group or if doing a solo part they will flash to a red room outlined in black with the soloist playing their solo. Along with the outline of neon red around a members body they will have a neon red outline of the instrument they play as well. An example of this in the music video Shot In The Dark around 1:31 they have a shot of Cliff Willams playing his guitar and on his guitar there is a moving streak of a neon red light. This has been a new trend where you will see flashes of an outline of a person with some sort of neon color...

Production Blog

 So today we have finishers with the editing of our video. This was a good thing for us because we are able to see our final product. Once we finished editing we looked over our video. We were looking them to see if anything was bad. We looked it over and everything seemed fine. We then were talking about what to do next. This is where we had some discussion. We had to talk about what we wanted to do next. One person wanted to relax and do nothing. One other person wanted to finish up the rest of the blogs. And I had no clue what to do. We then had an argument on what we should do it went nowhere. Then once we stopped arguing we then had to leave Marius place cause it got late. After we got home we texted each other. This text consists of us talking about what’s the next plan. We couldn’t come up with anything so we just decided to rest. This was what we all thought would be best. We would just relax.
