Well from the start of this project I was thinking of what song we could do. Marius and I were thinking of what genre we could do, then we came up with the rock genre. We then were thinking of what song we could do. Marius and I thought of the song Highway To Hell. We liked the idea of using that song because we could think of ways to show the idea of "Hell." We then went onto the storyboard process, I was the one who was going to do the drawing and come up with the scenes. I was thinking of what ways I could show "Hell" I came up with all sorts of ideas. The one that I stuck with was a kid going to the dentist. The reason I picked this was because people have a fear of the dentist. I knew I could portray the fear of the dentist as it being this persons "Hell." I went on to think of the scenes that would portray this the best. This is what I came up with, A little kid is pulling up to the dentist. The sky is dark and gloomy and it starts to thunder. Well that first part got cut due to the time of filming the sky was blue. To continue on the kid walks up to a sign pointing to the dentist office. He walks into the building and arrives at a sign pointing towards the elevator that goes to the dentist office. Then the film goes black and it is over. Once I finished the storyboard I went onto filming. Marius and I meet up and we filmed the video. Once we filmed the video we had a good amount of time left. It only took us an hour to film which in my mind was good. We then went onto the editing process Marius did most of the big work. I just provided him with some help every here and there. We finished the editing process and got done with the music video.

Genre Research: Lost Girls

  In order to learn more about our genre, our group watched Lost Girls, a murder mystery movie released in 2020. This movie is a nice classic murder mystery, similar to the likes of Clue and Murder on the Orient Express. This movie is what initially drew our interest when researching mystery movies, so we are happy to see it. As we watch this movie, we hope to find elements on the genre, as well as learn a few tricks to make a good mystery. What element of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have. I n the film Lost Girls a daughter goes missing and was last seen near Oak island beach. The one element that is in this movie is not knowing who did it. We are planning on using the element of not knowing who did it in our film. Which is why we watched this film. Research Blog: Music Video Conventions

 Well to start off the newer music videos made by ACDC are concert like but because of COVID its just them a stage and a camera crew. In these music videos they use a basic color scheme which is black and red. They will use some editing skills to add in effects like a neon red outline around Axl Rose's body. They flash from a red black room of just one person to the whole band on a stage playing, depending on whats going on they will either put in the whole group or if doing a solo part they will flash to a red room outlined in black with the soloist playing their solo. Along with the outline of neon red around a members body they will have a neon red outline of the instrument they play as well. An example of this in the music video Shot In The Dark around 1:31 they have a shot of Cliff Willams playing his guitar and on his guitar there is a moving streak of a neon red light. Production Blog

 So today we have finishers with the editing of our video. This was a good thing for us because we are able to see our final product. Once we finished editing we looked over our video. We were looking them to see if anything was bad. We looked it over and everything seemed fine. We then were talking about what to do next. This is where we had some discussion. We had to talk about what we wanted to do next. One person wanted to relax and do nothing. One other person wanted to finish up the rest of the blogs. And I had no clue what to do. We then had an argument on what we should do it went nowhere. Then once we stopped arguing we then had to leave Marius place cause it got late. After we got home we texted each other. This text consists of us talking about what’s the next plan. We couldn’t come up with anything so we just decided to rest. This was what we all thought would be best. We would just relax.
