Filming Blog for Music Video

 Well we started off the day by meeting up with each other at my house. We came up with a good place to film the music video. Then we decided who was going to film and who was going to be in the music video. We came up with that I was going to be the camera man. While Marius was going to be in the music video.We walked there it took about 10 minutes. It was in the same building as my old dentist. I filmed the intro of the music video of Marius walking past a sign pointing to the building. I then filmed Marius walking into the first floor of the building. This is then followed up by him walking up to an elevator going up to the dentist office. Once he presses the button to call the elevator he walks in and the doors close. Once the doors close there is a shot of the elevator going up towards the Dentist's office. Once we got the main shots done we went back and did a couple reshoots. During the first reshoot of the opening scene the storyboard fly's off my clipboard and we both went chasing after it. We then got back to filming and finished doing the re-take. We then had some spare time and decided to go ask if we could go film there. We went up to the 6th floor and asked the general manager if we could film there and she said yes. We both thought she was going to say no because she looked like she was all serious and very professional. She was very kind to us and very respectful which was kind. We went back down and did a final shoot of the music video. We then finished up and went back to my house to chill out.

  In order to learn more about our genre, our group watched Lost Girls, a murder mystery movie released in 2020. This movie is a nice classic murder mystery, similar to the likes of Clue and Murder on the Orient Express. This movie is what initially drew our interest when researching mystery movies, so we are happy to see it.  So today we have finishers with the editing of our video. This was a good thing for us because we are able to see our final product. Once we finished editing we looked over our video. We were looking them to see if anything was bad. We looked it over and everything seemed fine. We then were talking about what to do next. This is where we had some discussion. We had to talk about what we wanted to do next. One person wanted to relax and do nothing. One other person wanted to finish up the rest of the blogs. And I had no clue what to do. We then had an argument on what we should do it went nowhere. Then once we stopped arguing we then had to leave Marius place cause it got late. After we got home we texted each other. This text consists of us talking about what’s the next plan. We couldn’t come up with anything so we just decided to rest. This was what we all thought would be best. We would just relax. Title Research: 2001: A Space Odyssey

  What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? - During the Opening sequence, there is, at first, nothing. Then, about 45 seconds in, we get to see the first name. That name is Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the company who made this movie. The next name, which appears soon after, is that of Stanley Kubrick, the producer of the movie. Finally, we see the title screen. What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? -In the opening sequence, the first image is an all black screen. Eventually, we see a big white circle begin to appear, and we realize that it is actually a planet. We slowly move up from the original black screen (which is actually a planet), and more unto the white circle with some light behind it. What connotations do these images carry? - These images carry an interesting connotation, as they are beautiful and gives us an image to look at, leaving the audience in awe at the images and the music especially.
