  • Props: The props would be a Wilson volleyball, a volleyball net. We would have water bottles and other people in the background.

  • Outfits: The outfits that we are going to be wearing are having a Jersey and basketball shorts, with knee pads and have court shoes. The reason for this is that it this is the normal outfit for the normal volleyball player.
Schedule 
  • 10/23/20- I did my research on Wilson volleyball company and I looked up quotes from them. 
  • 10/23/20- I planned out my commercial and thought of where to film.
  • 10/26/20- I will create the story board for my commercial 
  • 10/30/20- I will film my commercial and start the editing process 
  • 11/05/20- I will finish editing the commercial and add my finishing touches 
Location: 
 Main: I am going to film at holiday park, I am going to go inside the indoor gym and start the commercial. This would be the perfect place where a volleyball commercial could be filmed. The Server would hit a Wilson volleyball to the other side of the court.

Back Up plan: If we cant film in the Gym we would film on the sand courts. This is cause volleyball games also take place on beach courts or sand courts. This would also be a good place to film. To add a note Olympic volleyball takes place on sand courts.

  In order to learn more about our genre, our group watched Lost Girls, a murder mystery movie released in 2020. This movie is a nice classic murder mystery, similar to the likes of Clue and Murder on the Orient Express. This movie is what initially drew our interest when researching mystery movies, so we are happy to see it. As we watch this movie, we hope to find elements on the genre, as well as learn a few tricks to make a good mystery.  So today we have finishers with the editing of our video. This was a good thing for us because we are able to see our final product. Once we finished editing we looked over our video. We were looking them to see if anything was bad. We looked it over and everything seemed fine. We then were talking about what to do next. This is where we had some discussion. We had to talk about what we wanted to do next. One person wanted to relax and do nothing. One other person wanted to finish up the rest of the blogs. And I had no clue what to do. We then had an argument on what we should do it went nowhere. Then once we stopped arguing we then had to leave Marius place cause it got late. After we got home we texted each other. Title Research: 2001: A Space Odyssey

  What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? - During the Opening sequence, there is, at first, nothing. Then, about 45 seconds in, we get to see the first name. That name is Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the company who made this movie. The next name, which appears soon after, is that of Stanley Kubrick, the producer of the movie. Finally, we see the title screen. What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? -In the opening sequence, the first image is an all black screen. Eventually, we see a big white circle begin to appear, and we realize that it is actually a planet. We slowly move up from the original black screen (which is actually a planet), and more unto the white circle with some light behind it. What connotations do these images carry? - These images carry an interesting connotation, as they are beautiful and gives us an image to look at, leaving the audience in awe at the images and the music especially.
